Water: There is a creek beside the homeowners residence. Please keep your children in sight and within the clearly marked bounds of the festival grounds.
We have done our best to clean up the site in preparation for this event. Areas outside the designated festival grounds may have risky materials like barbed wire hidden from site. Please watch your children and clearly define the boundaries and risks with them.
What's the address?
The festival takes place on private land in East Selkirk, MB. Exact location details will be emailed to ticket holders prior to the event
Is this event only for families?
SOLA Fest is a family friendly wellness weekend. Individuals, couples, and families are all welcome to attend. There’s fun for all ages!
Will there be people to supervise my children?
NO! While we will have many volunteers providing entertainment and activities, you - and only you- are responsible for the safety and wellbeing of your family clan! Please take time to meet with your family once you arrive on site to walk around, familiarize yourself with the area, and set appropriate boundaries.
What if myself or my child needs an inclusion worker to participate?
If your child requires an inclusion support worker they will be admitted free of charge. Please email us and let us know of your situation so we can make arrangements.
Can I bring my pet Dog/cat/hamster?
While we love all our furry friends, it would be too chaotic to have them at our festival. Please leave your pet at home for their safety and the safety of others. Certified Services animals are welcome.
Is there drinking water?
There is no public drinking water on site. Please bring enough water for your family for the duration of your stay. There will be handwashing water and a basin for dish washing.
Do I need to bring food?
Please bring enough food for your stay. If you are staying overnight on Friday, join us for a community potluck! Please label your dish with any potential allergens (dairy, gluten free, eggs, nuts, etc.) and remember to bring your feast plate!
Can I camp?
We have limited camping spots available and even more limited tenting spots. Get your tickets early to ensure you have a place to stay. Set-up for camping will open at 4:00PM on Friday, August 23rd, packing out must be completed by noon on August 25th.
Are alcohol/substances permitted on site?
As this is a family event, no alcohol or legal or illegal substances are permitted. Unless it is prescribed by a physician.
Where do we park?
We will have a traffic volunteer directing parking. In order to make things easier for us and the environment, we highly encourage carpooling. Cars will not be permitted to drive up to their tent spot, so please bring a wagon if you are concerned with transporting your items. It’s not a particularly big site, so you won’t be walking far.
